Hi, I’m Ben Fisher, a full-stack software developer with over three years of professional experience crafting solutions for small, mission-driven teams. From architecting robust CRM systems to optimizing processes and mentoring teams, I thrive on delivering impactful, scalable results.
Currently based in Nederland, CO, I specialize in technologies like React, Angular, Node.js, and PHP, among others. My recent work includes helping organizations scale effectively, such as increasing email subscribers fourfold and tripling platform subscriptions. I’m passionate about combining technology with strategy to build tools that empower businesses and communities.
When I’m not coding, you can find me swinging a vintage axe as an amateur lumberjack, foraging for food, trying a new tantalizing recipe in the kitchen, or diving into my latest board game obsession.

Why Pineapple?
The picture of a pineapple at the top of the page is one that I grew indoors at 8300' above sea level. I had no expectation for this plant that I twisted off of a store-bought pineapple would produce more than some new leaves. Yet, after 4½ years of steadily growing, much to my amazement, I saw a small pineapple growing out of what I considered to be a houseplant!
During this same period of time that the pineapple plant was growing, I've been tending to my career as a software developer. I've continued to nurture the numerous skills that have shaped my role as a technology operations engineer. I now feel like I have developed fruitfully into this role and am clearer than ever in how to show up for myself, the company I do work for and my community at large.
